The Afarinesh Women’s Team, led by head coach Najmeh Barzegar and managed by Elham Roozbehan, delivered a powerful and well-organized performance in the preliminary stage of the competition, recording one of the standout displays of the tournament.

Relying on a cohesive squad, precise technical planning, and a strong fighting spirit, Afarinesh proved throughout the matches that they were among the serious contenders for qualification.

The Afarinesh squad for these competitions included:
Sheida Khakbaz (Captain), Zeynab Roosta, Aida Namazi, Setareh Abbasi, Fatemeh Zarei, Maryam Razmjoo, Marzieh Yazdanshenas, Sanaz Basti, Anahita Nemati, Rozhan Maghsoudi, Melika Manouchehri, Maryam Zareh, and Hadis Namdari.

On the opening day, Afarinesh put on an attacking and near-flawless performance, securing a convincing 4–0 victory over Omid Khonj.
On day two, they repeated the same scoreline, defeating Omid Sarvestan 4–0 and further demonstrating their dominance.

On the third day of competition, Afarinesh faced Setaregan-e Khor in a tightly contested and evenly balanced match, which ultimately ended in a goalless draw.
However, on the final day, Afarinesh delivered a composed and superior performance, defeating Esteghlal Shiraz 2–0 to confidently close out the group stage.

At the conclusion of the tournament, Afarinesh finished without conceding a single goal and level on points with the group leaders. Due only to an inferior goal difference, they placed second in the standings but nevertheless earned well-deserved qualification for the national championships.
